Organic hemp, cotton, and linen blend face cloth, hand woven by textile artist Jessica Bovert on an 8 shaft floor loom on an alpaca farm in Carmel Valley, California. Bovert uses only biodegradable yarns sourced from mills with high ethical standards and creates practical, everyday items for the home in order to keep the centuries old tradition of weaving alive. The waffle weave enhances water absorbency and though the fabric is strong and soft, the texture does provide light exfoliation.
